Extended Care for Children in Grades K-5

Our extended care program is geared toward school-age children with families who request before and/or after school care. During the school year, children who participate in extended care attend Bagby Elementary School.

We currently have a waitlist for all grades K – 5. Please contact the office (408) 371-2573 if you would like to be placed on our waitlist.

Grades K – 5 Extended Care Program

Extended care for children is provided at our Bagby site. We have a triple wide portable building that children find comfortable and welcoming. Children are grouped by grade to best meet their social and academic needs. We do allow for time for homework Monday – Thursday in addition to having sports and art acitivities.

Hours
Daily Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM year round. Please refer to the school’s calendar (available at our school office or by visiting our Fall Calendar on our website.) for school holidays and breaks during the school year. During the school year, our schedule closely follows that of the Cambrian School District.

Praise for ATLC

"I first stepped foot into A TLC Preschool at age 4. I can remember a white piano, Mrs. Tyson singing, playing on an enormous playground, fun activities in the "Pink Room" and resting in the "Blue Room". Though the location has changed since my graduation 25+ years ago, the feeling of belonging didn't change when I toured for my own daughter to attend. My husband and I started touring preschools in early January 2011 to find the perfect place for our daughter to attend in the fall. Mrs. Jayne Tyson-Davilla offered a wonderful personal touch that we hadn't seen at any other school. We fell in love with A TLC Preschool instantly and our daughter actually started a few weeks later in February. Now, she can't wait for school days and loves picking out her clothes the night before. Our daughter comes home singing new songs and showing off her art projects with huge smiles. She's eager to get into her classroom in the morning, and when she's feeling a little off, her teachers have been there to give her the extra hug and encouragement to help get her day off to a great start. My husband and I could not have asked for anything more in a preschool and we love being a part of the A TLC Preschool family for two generations!"
