Preschool and Kindergarten Programs

The main goal of A TLC Preschool & Extended Care, Inc. is to help your child develop a positive self-image. Each child is encouraged to learn how to follow directions, in order to be better repared for Kindergarten. A brief overview of the curriculum(s) is listed below.

Our preschool program is geared toward children aged 3-5. Children should be 3 years old by September 1st. Children are typically grouped by age.

3 Year-Old Program

Age appropriate semi-structured program and directed activities that include – Introduction to Art, French, Science, Singing, Movement, Cooking, Crafts, Self-esteem building exercises and concepts.

4 Year-Old Program / Pre-K

Age appropriate semi-structured kindergarten readiness program and directed activities that include – Phonemic Awareness, Mathematics, Science, Art, Sign Language, Spanish, Cooking, Singing, Movement exploration & sensory – motor training activities.

JR. Kindergarten

Jr. Kindergarten Program is for children who have a late summer/fall birthday and have completed a PreK program. These children will go on to Kindergarten the following year.
